Philanthropic Giving: Your generosity is vital.

Your generosity is vital to the preservation and promulgation of local history, nature and art.

Thank you so much for your commitment to keeping the Genesee Country Village & Museum flourishing. We greatly appreciate all donations, large and small, from both individuals and corporate sponsors.

We also want to insure you are aware of the approaching deadlines for two very attractive, year-end giving opportunities that will change or expire on December 31, 2011.
Charitable Gift Annuity: Annuity rates, which are based on the age of the donor, will be decreasing starting January 1, 2012. One or two individuals may contribute $10,000 or more to create an annuity, which pays out a fixed income for the rest of your life (or the longer of two lives).

The IRA Charitable Rollover: Individuals who are 70½ and older can roll over up to $100,000 from an Individual Retirement Account directly to charity and satisfy the need for a required minimum distribution. This provision expires on December 31.
Please consult your financial planner for further information.
