Our grounds encompass hundreds of acres of woodlands, meadows, old fields, fascinating geologic formations, a trout stream and the nation’s largest and best documented Eastern screech-owl population. Open year-round, our themed nature trails allow you to explore natural history and the area’s varied and glorious flora and fauna. Teachers wishing to expose their classes to nature’s wonders may schedule one of our School Programs or, for those unable to bring their class to us, may schedule one of our Moveable Museum programs where we bring our wildlife to you.
