Using Focus Field Studies for Interdisciplinary Learning, July 12-16, 2004

Genesee Country Village & Museum is pleased to offer upper elementary and middle school teachers the opportunity to participate in a free weeklong institute at the museum. Teachers will visit the art gallery, nature center and historic buildings; interact with costumed interpreters; observe ongoing youth programs; and use instructional materials created at the museum. In addition, they will develop teaching materials and strategies to bring these learning experiences back to their classrooms. This year's emphasis will be on using history to teach concepts in science, math and technology.
