Drawing in Pastels

Two Sundays, April 20 & 27, noon-3 p.m.
Go on a sketching trip through Genesee Country Village and draw favorite scenes of of our buildings. Learn about line, shape, color, composition, form and structure. Use your sketches to create a painting using pastels.

Instructor: Eve Keberle
Fee: $45/$30 members
Materials fee: $15 due to instructor at class

Banjo Basics

Six Saturdays, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and June7, 9-10 a.m..
Do you have a banjo sitting in a corner gathering dust because you don’t know how to play it? This class will help you learn how to tune the banjo, strum basic chords, read tablature and play using an old-time method known as claw hammer. You will also receive a list of resources for your continued self-instruction.

Guitar Basics

Six Sundays, May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1 and 8, 9-10 a.m.
Have you been thinking about learning to play the guitar? Or maybe it’s been few years since you picked up a guitar and you don’t remember very much. This class is for you! Learn how to tune the guitar, strum basic chords and read tablature. You will also receive a list of resources for your continued self-instruction.
