Weaving (Spring)

Four Sundays, Mar. 2, 9, 16 & 30 OR
Four Sundays, Apr. 6, 13, 20 & 27, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Learn to make a warp, dress a loom and weave a scarf or set of place mats. Please contact the instructor beforehand if you wish to bring your own loom. Advanced weavers may make arrangements with the instructor for larger projects, such as a blanket, shawl or double-weave piece. A list of required materials will be sent to you before class begins. Age 16 to adult.

Spinning

Four Fridays, Mar. 7, 14, 21 & 28 OR
Four Fridays, Apr. 4, 11, 18 & 25, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Learn the rewarding craft of making your own yarn for knitting and weaving. Learn to sort a fleece, tease and card the wool, and then spin and ply it. Advanced spinners may bring their own fibers and spend the week perfecting their skills spinning silk, flax or mohair. If you have your own spinning wheel, feel free to bring it. Age 16 to adult.

Monday through Friday, July 21-25, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Spinning & Dyeing

Monday through Friday, July 28-August 1, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
