A very special pathway has been created at Genesee Country Village & Museum that will provide a unique opportunity to remember a loved one, honor a colleague, show your support of the museum and make your mark in history.
The path has been assembled from purchased and engraved legacy bricks within the c.1850 Toll House, greeting everyone as they enter the historic village.
Each purchased brick assists the museum in fulfilling its mission to “inspire excitement and curiosity about the past and an appreciation for its relevance today.”
Capital letters are about ¾” high and engraved in the Times New Roman font. The inscriptions are then filled with a dark-colored grout to an even finish.
The brick “path to the future“ offers museum supporters the opportunity to help guarantee the museum’s future while it goes about preserving the past.
The new pathway was unveiled on Opening Day at the museum in May 2015, and continues to grow each season.
