2016 is GCV&M's 40th year of... inspiring excitement and curiosity about the past and an appreciation for its relevance today. Membership dues cover less than 4% of the Museum’s operating costs, so we continue to depend on philanthropic support. Your gift will be directly applied to supporting the museum’s educational mission—thus positively impacting the bottom-line. We greatly appreciation all donations, large and small, from both individuals and corporations.
Ken Burns wrote of us, “GCV&M…strives to create a strong emotional connection with history and help us better understand who we are as Americans today. GCV&M is a beautiful living slice of 19th-century America.”
Your generosity is vital to the preservation and promulgation of local history, nature and art
By including GCV&M in your will, you are giving a gift to future generations of museum visitors. Your gift can support museum operations or a specific program, and can have significant tax benefits. To learn more, e-mail Corinne Heschke at Cheschke@gcv.org or call 585-294-8253.
