Treat yourself and your loved ones to delicious, historical sweets! Learn how to make wafers using a 19th-century wafer iron over an open fire, and churn your own hazelnut ice cream! Please wear closed-toed shoes for this experience.

FAQs
Yes! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum (please leave the first two bays open for handicap parking).
Check-in will be in the Meeting Center Lounge, to the immediate right of the Admissions tunnel when facing the front of the Museum.
Please notify our staff if you have difficulty with mobility, and our Security team will transport you to and from the workshop site with their security vehicle.
We will be checking you in by name. However, we also recommend printing out OR taking a screenshot of your invoice or ticket(s) as backup.
Yes! The Museum will only cancel by order of Monroe County.
You may bring an apron if you like, but all other materials needed to make this workshop successful will be provided to you.
Genesee Country Village & Museum will be open with a handful of staffed buildings around the Village Square from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., plus programming in the Nature Center!
A limited food menu will be offered in the Meeting Center Lounge from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Please wear clothing suitable for baking and comfortable shoes. If you plan to visit the Historic Village after class, dress for the predicted weather conditions and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on gravel paths and uneven surfaces.
You will be walking from Admissions to the workshop site and back; please be prepared for a walk through the Historic Village in the predicted weather conditions.
Tickets may be refunded only up to 7 days prior to the event date and are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program.
