Yes, you will be standing and walking for the majority of this workshop.
Please wear closed-toed shoes that are also comfortable for walking in.
Yes! Park in any of the parking bays at the front of the Museum. The first two bays are for handicap parking only.
You will first check in through Admissions to receive your hang tag. An Interpretation staff member will meet all participants on the back side of Admissions and lead the entire group back to the workshop site.
We will be checking you in by name for this workshop. However, we do recommend either printing out OR taking a screen shot of your ticket(s) or invoice as backup.
Yes – this event is rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions. We will cancel only in the case of thunderstorms or severe weather.
No! Everything will be provided to you to make this class successful.
The purchase of this ticket also grants you access to the Museum for the day! The Historic Village, John L. Wehle Gallery, Nature Center, and Flint Hill Gift Shop will all be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Depot Restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (grill closes at 3) for you to grab lunch.
Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
