Enjoy a Halloween-themed homeschool day!
Calling all homeschool families explore the Nature Center at Genesee Country Village & Museum on Halloween!
Join us for a Halloween celebration at the Nature Center! Spend this special day outdoors in the woods, where you can enjoy a guided hike, participate in crafts and games, listen to storytelling, and savor s’mores by the fire. All activities are family-friendly and focus on celebrating the beautiful changes of autumn in nature, rather than the spooky aspects of Halloween.
Participating homeschoolers will get the opportunity to:
- Take a magical guided hike and learn about the folklore of plants and animals – bats, spiders, and owls – oh my!
- Complete Halloween-inspired crafts
- Enjoy marshmallows and stories (not scary!) around a campfire
