FAQs

Is there ample parking?

Parking is free and plentiful! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. Please leave the first two bays available for handicapped parking.

Where do I check in for a historic dinner?

You will gather inside the Meeting Center Lounge for check-in (to the immediate right of Admissions, when facing the front of the Museum). Go through the set of white double-doors, and that will take you right into the Lounge.

How do I show my purchased tickets?

You will be checked in by name for Historic MacKay Supper. However, we also recommend printing out OR taking a screenshot of your invoice or ticket(s) for backup.

How should I dress?

Dress for the predicted weather conditions and wear appropriate winter footwear. Guests are encouraged to dress for the period if they like, but please make sure you are wearing appropriate winter clothing and shoes.

Can I bring alcohol with me?

Yes! Guests are invited to bring 1 bottle of wine of your choice to accompany your historic meal.

What if there is inclement weather?

The Museum will only cancel if there is a travel ban issued in Monroe County. IF the Museum does cancel, we will be in touch with all purchasers via email and/or phone, and will update our website and social media pages accordingly.

What if I need a refund for my ticket?

We’re sorry to hear that you’re not able to attend! Tickets for our Historic Dining Experiences are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program, and are non-refundable.
