FAQs
Yes! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. Please leave the first two bays available for handicap parking.
You will first check in through the Admissions tunnel to get your hang tag. Interpretation staff will greet all workshop participants on the back side of Admissions, then guide the entire group back to the workshop site.
Please have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in. Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the front of the Museum.
Yes – this event is rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions. We will cancel only in the case of thunderstorms or severe weather.
You may bring your own apron if you wish. Everything else will be provided to you to make this class successful.
The Historic Village, Nature Center Trails, and Flint Hill Gift Shop will all be open to visitors from 10 am – 4 pm! The Depot Restaurant will be open from 11 am – 3 pm (grill closes at 2).
Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
You will be standing for the majority of this class, and walking from Admissions to the workshop site and back. Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the predicted weather conditions.
Tickets may be refunded only up to 7 days prior to the event date and are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program.
