FAQs
Yes! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. Please leave the first two bays available for handicap parking.
You can check-in through the Admissions tunnel and receive your hang tag. A member of the Interpretation staff will greet participants just outside of Admissions, then guide the entire group back to the workshop site.
Please have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in. Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the front of the Museum.
Yes – this event is rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions. We will cancel only in the case of thunderstorms or severe weather.
No! Everything will be provided to you to make this class successful.
Aprons will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
The Historic Village, Nature Center, and Flint Hill Gift Shop will all be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.! The Depot Restaurant and Freight House Pub will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (hot grill items available until 3 p.m.).
Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
While this class is mostly indoors, some outdoor time and walking are required.
