Join us at the John L. Wehle Art Gallery for our Scouts Art Merit Badge Class on Saturday, July 6!
This class is led by a certified Merit Badge Counselor and will complete all of the requirements for the Art Merit Badge Class.

GCV&M Merit Badge classes are taught by certified Merit Badge Counselors alongside additional staff or volunteers of the Musuem.
Yes! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. Please leave the first two bays available for handicap parking.
You will check in at the Meeting Center, to the immediate right of the Admissions Tunnel.
Please have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in. Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the front of the Museum.
Yes – this event is rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions. We will cancel only in the case of thunderstorms or severe weather.
Please bring:
- Your blue card.
- A bag lunch if you are also attending the Public Presentation Merit Badge Class.
Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
Please dress for the predicted weather conditions, as you will be walking outside. Village paths are crushed gravel and tend to be uneven; make sure to wear appropriate footwear.
Adult chaperones are not required for this class. However, if you would like to attend, you will need to purchase an adult ticket. Please keep it to one adult per scout.
The Historic Village, Nature Center, and Flint Hill Gift Shop will all be open to visitors from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.!
The Depot Restaurant and Freight House Pub will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (hot grill items available until 3 p.m.).
Tickets may be refunded only up to 7 days prior to the event date and are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program.
