Join us for a unique experience at GCV&M this season – After-Hours Adventures! We’re inviting guests for our popular Ghost Stories tour in the Historic Village. Enjoy your After-Hours experience, have a drink in the Freight House Pub, and enjoy the sight of the sun setting over Genesee Country Village & Museum.

Ghost Stories Tour
Friday, September 22 & Saturday, September 23
Explore eerie folktales of supernatural visits and haunted happenings from across New York State on a guided walking tour through the shadowy corners of the Historic Village. Handed down from generation to generation, these are ghostly stories that persist to the present day – and some are based on historical accounts.
Tours depart at 5:45 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 6:45 p.m. in groups of 20, and are about 75 minutes long.
Cost for the general public: $22
Cost for Museum Members: $20
Please note food & beverages are not included in the cost of this ticket and require additional purchase.

When you join us for After-Hours Adventures, plan ahead to stay a while and enjoy a historical craft beverage in the Freight House Pub! (Open 5 – 7 p.m.)

Check-in will begin at 5 p.m.! Feel free to shop or enjoy a quick bite or beverage before your program begins.
Parking is free and plentiful! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. Please leave the first two bays available for handicapped parking.
Check-in will be in the Flint Hill Store.
Please have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in. Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the front of the Museum.
Yes! This event is rain or shine. The Museum will only cancel in case of a severe weather emergency.
Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions.
We recommend wearing a good pair of walking shoes – there is a lot to see and do, and surfaces in the Historic Village (brick paths, cobblestone, grass), can be uneven.
Yes! Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
The Freight House Pub will be open from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. for beverages and light fare.
Stop by the Flint Hill Gift Shop until 7 p.m. for village-made goods, GCV&M apparel, and so much more!
