FAQs
Yes! GCV&M is open to visitors from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. today. The Historic Village is not staffed, but you’re welcome to take a stroll before Tea.
The John L. Wehle Gallery, Flint Hill Gift Shop, and Nature Center Trails are also open to visitors from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Parking is free and plentiful! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum, but please leave the first two bays available for handicap parking.
Valentine’s Tea will be held in the Nature Center. Park in any of the main lots, then walk over the small wooden bridge between the trees to get to the Nature Center.
Yes! You will need to be able to get from the main parking lots to the Nature Center, but the building itself is handicap accessible.
You will first check in through the Flint Hill Store to receive your hang tag. Then, you will walk over to the Nature Center Building, where you will be checked in by name for Tea.
The Nature Center Building is located to the right when facing the front of the Museum. You can either walk over the small wooden bridge or up the driveway that says “No Vehicles Past this Point”. Go to your right until you see the blue building; enter through the glass double-doors on the porch.
We will be checking you in by name for Tea. However, please also have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in. Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the front of the Museum.
Tea has assigned seating! If you would like to sit with a friend but have purchased tickets separately, please notify us at programregistrar@gcv.org. Please make sure to include the purchaser’s name(s) and the date purchased for.
Yes! This event is rain or shine. The Museum will only cancel in case of travel ban or by order of Monroe County.
Due to the nature of this event, special dietary and allergy restrictions cannot be accommodated. Thanks for understanding!
Yes! Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
We’re sorry to hear that you’re not able to attend! Tickets may be refunded only up to 7 days prior to the event date and are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program.
