Prepare for the holiday season!
Join us for a seasonal favorite – our wreath-making workshop at GCV&M! Learn how to use evergreens, everlasting flowers, seedpods, and herbs to create a work of art just in time for the holiday season! Participants will learn how to create a soft-close form with an evergreen base, and will learn how to create festive garlands and kissing balls out of fresh evergreens! Participants will take home their wreaths, garlands, and kissing balls.

FAQs
Yes! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. Please leave the first two bays available for handicap parking.
An Interpretation staff member will greet all participants outside of Admissions and check you in by name, then guide the entire group back to the workshop site.
Please have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in. Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the front of the Museum.
Yes – this event is rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions. We will cancel only in the case of thunderstorms or severe weather.
No! Everything will be provided to you to make this class successful.
The Museum grounds will be CLOSED to visitors except for those on the guided Yuletide in the Country tours. You may not explore the Historic Village, Nature Center Building, or Nature Center trails.
The Flint Hill Gift Shop will be open from 1 pm – 8pm; stop in for village-made goods, holiday shopping, and more!
Leashed service animals are welcome with proper identification.
While this class is mostly indoors, attendees will be standing for the majority of the class. Please wear closed-toed shoes!
Please note: you will be walking from Admissions to the workshop site and back; please dress for the predicted weather conditions and wear appropriate shoes for walking in the weather and standing.
Tickets may be refunded only up to 7 days prior to the event date and are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program.
