We offer a variety of unique classes throughout the year.

Needle Felting with Wool

Saturday, January 20, 9 am-3 pm

Instructor Chris Kieber will lead participants through the step-by-step process of fashioning colored wool roving into detailed faces of animal or human characters. Numerous examples will be on hand to get participants’ creative juices flowing as they have fun making their own pin or magnet to take home. All materials will be provided. Participants should bring a lunch with them. Ages 12 to adult.

Carve a Sugar Mold

Saturday, February 17, 9 am-4 pm

Molding maple sugar in fancy wooden molds has a long history. Join woodcarver Chris Kieber for a beginner’s class and discover why these traditional decorative shapes were so popular. Participants will create their own beautiful weeping heart design while learning basic carving skills and safety. No previous experience is required. Material costs are included in class fee. Participants will be able to keep the set of tools provided to them for the class. Limited to 8 people. Ages 14 to adult. Participants should bring a lunch with them.
