Nature Sunday experiences are fun for the whole family!

The Genesee Country Nature Center is an outstanding natural area with hundreds of acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds, old fields, fascinating geologic formations, plants and animals. Visit the Center every Sunday for an independent hike, or join one of our naturalists for a guided nature experience. Guided Nature Sunday programs will run approximately 45-60 minutes and travel no more than a mile. The Nature Center building and trails will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm for a suggested donation of $5.

Picnic by the Pond

Every Sunday, April 8-September 30
Looking for somewhere to eat your lunch? Come have a picnic by the pond. Enjoy your lunch, and after you finish we would be happy to introduce you and your family to the turtles, salamanders and frogs that call our ponds home. For those looking for a little extra adventure, nets and buckets will be available for some hands-on, or should we say hands-in, fun! Meet at the Nature Center at 12:30pm.

The Salamander Squad
