4 Ladies in Parlor in the Woods, 1 Men in Hunting Gear
Object/Artifact
Lady in gray dress that buttons all down the front, wide mauve bands above hem and
accenting the closures. Garibaldi jacket. Apparently knitting some kind of matching
accessory. Next one in dark green riding habit, trained, trimmed with many rows of black
ribbon forming a discreet knot pattern on top. Jacket with collar and lapels, turnback cuffs.
Hat with trailing plume, whip. Next is another gray dress, trimmed in purple; huge bishop
sleeves, button front. Man in black coat and pants, what looks like soft leather
spatterdashes, shallow bowler type hat; fringed hunting bag and rifle. Last woman encased
almost entirely in a black mantle with enormous cape sleeves, over a brown dress.
