Scene in art gallery/shop. First wears a very long, trim, dark green overcoat with Persian
lamb collar, cuffs and edging, braid closures. Large black trousers. Second is shopkeeper
offering him chocolates, wearing a long black paletot buttoned to the neck, over wide
legged black trousers and red house slippers. The next one displays the quilted lining of a
black knee length coat over a brown frock coat edged with tan binding, over tweedy browngray
pants. The next shows what may be the back of the first one, brown with tan fur
edging or defining the back kick pleat or slit. He wears a matching cap with a band of fur.
Black trousers. The next examines an objet, wearing a gray top coat bound with light tape,
over light gray striped trousers. The last wears a loose calf-length dark blue coat with huge
bell sleeves, tiny collar and deep cuffs and pocket flaps and edges all made of gray
