Coffee & Doughnuts Workshop

Learn how to roast your own coffee and fry your own doughnuts the 19th-century way! Using historical techniques and ingredients (including lard for frying!), guests will get to make and eat their own brunch-time treats in the 1850s Jones Farm kitchen. All participants must be age 16+.

Arrival & check-in:
- Parking is free and plentiful! Park in any of the main lots at the front of the Museum. The first two bays are available for handicapped parking.
- An Interpretation staff member will greet and check you in by the purchaser’s name outside of Admissions. Once the entire group has arrived, they will escort you back to the workshop site.
- You will be walking from Admissions to the workshop site and back. Dress for the predicted weather conditions and wear sturdy footwear. Guest transport is available for those who are not able to walk long distances.
Food & Shopping:
- The Museum is closed to visitors on this date, but we hope you’ll come back to visit another time.
Other Information:
- Videography, professional photography, and drone usage are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited past the front parking lot. You will need to exit to your vehicle to smoke or vape.
- We allow leashed, certified service animals with proper identification. We do not allow pets.
- Tickets for this event were refundable only up to 7 days prior to the workshop date. All GCV&M tickets are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program. No exceptions will be made.
