This program is appropriate for Grades 2 – 12.
Development and inventions: the 19th century was full of scientific progress in urban and rural areas. Students will learn about mechanics in farming, engineering in the trades, chemistry in the kitchen, physics demonstrations, and math in the general store. See the device that led to the first computer in action and build a simple machine. All things STEM in the Historic Village!
This self-guided field trip features timed programming throughout the Historic Village. Plan for two to four hours at the museum.
