Women making cheese in a historic kitchen

Cheese Making

Monday, April 24 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Enjoy a truly unique experience making cheese alongside a historic cook in the Jones Farmhouse. Using 19th-century cheese-making techniques, participants will understand the hard work and patience it took to make a staple of the 19th-century diet. During this class, you will also make a hearty noon meal of handmade biscuits, soup, and seed cakes. Participants will work together to churn their own butter to top off the meal. Before heading home, participants will take home a wedge of the finished cheese. Space is limited – purchase your tickets today!
