Historic Village
- Talk with costumed interpreters in each of five (5) staffed buildings, then peek into the past in several others.
- Take a quiet walk (ski or snowshoe) in our picturesque historic setting.
Nature Center
- Snowshoe, ski or hike our 5+ miles of trails and catch glimpses of our winter residents.
*Snowshoes are available to borrow at the Nature Center.
Great Meadow
- Sledding! Enjoy a brisk jaunt down our Great Meadow hill. It’s sure to bring back memories and create some new ones for friends and families. (Bring your own or share the limited sleds provided).
Meeting Center Cafe
- Open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Warm up by the fire with some tasty comfort foods.
Flint Hill Store
- Open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sweet treats, historic village-made items and so much more to browse and purchase.

Blue Star Museum
Genesee Country Village & Museum is a Blue Star Museum, offering free daily admission (including day-time special events) to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and up to 5 family members, including National Guard and Reserves. Please bring ID.

Senior Visitor Discount
Every Wednesday (May – August) is Senior Day at GCV&M! Visitors ages 62+ can enjoy $10 admission. Take a trolley ride around the Museum grounds, enjoy lunch in the Depot Restaurant, explore the latest exhibit in the John L. Wehle Gallery, and more!

Free admission for teachers planning a field trip or program
We are thrilled to be able to offer FREE admission to GCV&M to any teacher looking to make a site-visit in preparation for, or to assist in the planning of, a field trip or program. Please let us know you’ll be coming by emailing info@gcv.org, and be prepared to present a school ID or badge at the Admissions Booth. Discount applies to educator only.
Museums For All
Genesee Country Village & Museum is a member of the Museums For All initiative, offering $3.00 per person daily admission to EBT cardholders and up to three guests. Please bring EBT card and valid photo ID.
