GCV&M is open for Winter Weekends! Several houses in the Historic Village are open, plus the Nature Center and Wehle Art Gallery, and miles of snowy trails and sledding on the Great Meadow!

- Historic Village
Wander the quaint Historic Village without the crowds! Talk with costumed interpreters in each of five (5) staffed buildings, then peek into the past at several others. Staffed buildings today are Thomson Tavern, Foster House, Hosmer’s Inn, Livingston-Backus House, and Altay Store.
- John L. Wehle Gallery
Explore two current exhibits, “Perceived Realities” and “Everybody’s Going to Be There”! Plus, you might even get a sneak peek as we install our newest 2025 exhibit, “Color Me Calico: A Taste for Prints & Parties”!
- Nature Center
The Nature Center Building and Trails are open! Borrow snowshoes, binoculars, or bird guides! Bring your own skiis, snowshoes, or sleds.
- Food & Beverage
Grab a bite and a beer and warm your toes by a welcoming fire in the Meeting Center Cafe (Meeting Center Lounge), open 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
