Fun & Learning for all Ages!
Children ages 4-6 can join morning, afternoon, or full-day classes engaging their imaginations in activities and play on the Pioneer Farm or at the Nature Center.
Children ages 6-10 enjoy full-day adventures in the Historic Village doing pioneer chores, playing 19th-century games, cooking, and meeting the Village tradespeople. Or they can explore the Nature Center though group play, trail hikes, and wading in the creek.
Youth ages 10-15 select from more immersive learning experiences and can hone their 19th-century cooking and baking skills, muster and drill with Civil War re-enactors, or learn outdoor survival skills.
Returning campers ages 15-18 can apply to be a Volunteer Camp Assistant and gain valuable leadership and life skills under the mentorship of an experienced Summer Camp Teacher.
For children, ages 8-12, who love art we now offer camps out of the John L. Wehle Art Gallery! Spend time exploring the gallery, experimenting with colors, discovering new media, and creating one-of-a-kind works of art. Imagination and exploration are instinctive. At our new Art Camp we will help campers shape and express their creative ideas by looking at things in new ways and trying different techniques with a variety of media – all culminating in a gallery exhibition for their families and friends.
