Booking a group event at GCV&M

GROUP RATE TICKETS: GCV&M offers a group rate for general admission when groups schedule in advance and/or arrive together for a SELF-GUIDED experience in the Historic Village. Group rates are not valid for any reservation-only, guided, or after-hours events. 

Groups of 12 or more receive a $3 discount off each general admission ticket. Discount can be redeemed on-site or by emailing info@gcv.org. 

Please note that the group rate is valid from May 2 – October 12, 2026. The group rate discount is NOT valid for any discounted events.

  • Guided Trolley Tour of The Historic Village
    • There isn’t a more engaging way to explore this extraordinary village than being escorted on the trolley with your own personal tour guide. Travel back in time with this 19th-century costumed interpreter. Guests are welcome and encouraged to exit the trolley once the one-hour tour is complete to explore inside the shops and homes and meet the interpreters that bring the village alive. The trolley will continue to circle the village for the group to utilize during their self-guided, walking portion. Gift Shop will be open for shopping; tour group receives 10% off purchases. Recommended time for the guided portion of this tour is 1 hour.
    • Retails for $46 per person; Net Rate: $35 per person
  • Upstairs, Downstairs
    • Get a glimpse above and below! Museum experts provide special access to upstairs, downstairs, and behind barriers, providing guests with an experience above and beyond the day-to-day offerings within the Historic Village. Tours will emphasize room usage and will illuminate the daily experiences of our buildings’ former inhabitants. Experience is approximately 1 hour, involving walking and narrow stairs. This experience also includes general admission to the museum; a self-guiding, walking experience for the duration of their visit, and 10% off gift shop purchases.
    • Retails for $46 per person; Net Rate: $35 per person
  • Gardens of the Past Walking Tour (60 minutes)
    • Experience the beauty of our historic flower and vegetable gardens at Genesee Country Village & Museum! Guided by one of our expert gardeners, learn about our heirloom vegetable varieties, see our colorful and fragrant ornamental flower gardens, and witness the abundance of our well-established vineyards and orchards!
    • Retails for $41 per person; Net Rate: $30 per person
  • Barley and Brews Guided Tour (60 mins + drinks in Freight House)
    • See how 19th century beer was made, from crop to cask! With a personal guide, guests will explore our heirloom barley and hops fields, learn about the brewing process in our historic brewery, and end your tour with a tasting of our historic beers (made in collaboration with Rohrbach’s Brewing!) in the Freight House!
    • Retails for $46 per person; Net Rate: $35 per person
  • History of the Village Walking Tour (60 minutes)
    • Discover the story of how Genesee Country Village came to be in this guided walking tour! Hear the stories of the settlement and development of the Genesee Valley Region, learn how our historic buildings were moved to the Village, see some of our oldest structures, and hear about the future of Genesee Country Village & Museum!
    • Retails for $41 per person; Net Rate: $30 per person
  • Kitchens of the Past Guided Tour (60 minutes)
    • See what’s cooking in our historic kitchens! Led by one of our experienced cooks, explore a selection of kitchens throughout our historic village, spanning from the sparse early settlement hearths to the grand gourmet kitchens of the late 19th century! Guests will get to see our two working kitchens in action and interact with our talented foodways interpreters.

  • Historic Trades Tour (60 minutes)
    • Ever wondered how our beautiful village-made goods are created? See for yourself in our trades tour! Guests will explore a number of our historic trades buildings, get to meet some of our skilled tradespeople, and learn about the important history of skilled trades and commerce in the Genesee Valley.
    • Retails for $41 per person; Net Rate: $30 per person

A la carte options (Beer Tasting or Seasonal Confectionery Treat) can be added onto any experience for a rate of $5/person

All tour and experiences go on rain or shine; in the case of severe weather, alternate arrangements and/or refunds will be considered.
