Happy Hour in the Historic Village

Join us Friday, May 26 for a unique happy hour experience on warm spring evening set in the Historic Village. Purchase ahead online and save $5! This event is for adults ages 21+ and we will check each ID at the gate (no infants/small children allowed).

What is History on Tap?

Live up happy hour with friends in the midst of our Historic Village! Sample local craft beers, wines, ciders and more, including GCV&M's own Fat Ox and Intrepid ales. NEW this year — Flint & Steel Bourbon Barrel Cider — made using the museum's historic recipe!

Munch on festival foods from GCV&M restaurants, Eat Greek! and Cheesed & Confused while modern bluegrass flavored with the soul of Western New York energizes your evening.

Explore the museum grounds after hours and enjoy special access to our historic homes! Full glasses, bottles and growlers of your favorite beverages will be available for purchase.

Visit local breweries, wineries and cideries on-site to sample their favorite brews! Tastings are included in the price of admission. Don't forget to stop by the GCV&M Pavilion Garden Restaurant, or Eat Greek! and Cheesed & Confused food trucks for great party food between samples (additional cost). 2017 participants include:

Grab a beverage and listen to LIVE, high energy, Americana songs by The Crooked North. Experience our 19th-century village after hours with the museum's costumed villagers. Join the Flint Hill Dancers and show off your period moves. Cool off with a sweet ice cream cone. Say "Hi" to our oxen, Buck and Dan. Join in the fun!

This event is for persons ages 21 and over; IDs will be checked at the admissions gate. Purchase ahead online and save $5! Please be aware that if you purchase online you will not receive tickets in the mail. Please print your e-receipt to present at admissions for entry, or show on a phone. 

Event admission is $20 pre-sale online or $25 at the door. Members receive $2 off online and at the door. Call 585-294-8218 to purchase tickets as a member.

NEW this year — we are offering a $10 designated driver ticket for those who are not drinking (must be 21+)! Cash bar available throughout the evening. Doors open at 5 pm. FREE parking available for all visitors.
