The grounds of Genesee Country Village & Museum encompass hundreds of acres of woodlands, meadows, old fields, geologic formations, ponds and streams. With five miles of themed nature trails and 175 acres of wildlife habitat, the grounds are open year-round for visitors to explore natural history and the area’s flora and fauna.

This upcoming season the nature center building and trails will be open to the public every Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm for a suggested donation of $5.

We appreciate the natural world at GCV&M. Our beautiful setting is home to hundreds of acres of varied habitats. Let’s share the splendor of a nature-filled morning together. Enjoy a scrumptious continental breakfast at the nature center before you hit the trail in search of migrating birds. Bring a pair of binoculars and your most adventurous friends along for the journey. Check-in for your birding expedition at the Nature Center at 8:00am. This exploration will provide you with a behind-the-scene tour of our exclusive Oatka Creek Property—a unique opportunity.
