Quilted bonnet hood of dark blue silk lustring taffeta, lined in the bavolet and faced with blue, white, and pink plaid silk, and lined further into the hood with a natural cotton printed with purple. Only wadded (with wool) in the bavolet; quilted with blue silk thread in a few rows around the front edge of brim. Crown-to-brim seam is piped, and crown is gathered at top of head. Self fabric ties. Hand sewn.
