Electro-medical device originally part of a set made by the Bleadon-Dun Company. The Bleadon-Dun Company, based in Chicago, was a prominent marketer of electro-medical devices, especially popular in the 1910s-1920s, known for its "Violetta" violet ray machines that claimed to relieve pain and promote health, alongside other gadgets. They were considered the "world's largest exclusive manufacturers of portable, one-piece, high frequency generators" by the 1920s, selling various devices promising cures for numerous ailments until legal challenges debunked their medical claims.
