Diary of Frank Honeywell Fenno, 1867-1871
Archive
This small black journal of Frank Honeywell Fenno includes entries from 1868-1871. It is noted inside the front cover that this was "a present from W. J. Fenno the 25th day of Dec. 1867." The entries are sporadic and he uses the one diary for multiple years. He notes birthdays, deaths, celebration of Christmas, Fourth of July, and birthdays, base ball scores, playing croquet, comets and astronomical events, school, Sunday school, temperance speeches he gave, and daily life experiences. There is a separate printed square of paper, dated Feb. 16, 1869, listing Home Guards, of which Frank Fenno is a Lieutenant.
