Pin likely made with solid gold wire. The eight seed pearls are prong set as is the central-faceted red gem which is likely a garnet. Facets are finely done. Wires appear to have been sprayed or painted with matte black paint. Some has worn off the back. Back shows construction and structure of pin. There is a tiny loop, probably for a chain and pin for added security. There is a tube hinge and c clasp. 1 3/16" long. 1 3/8" wide.
