Oval pin consisting of a frame, probably brass, gilded with gold. A decorative edging is made by two twisted wires, one smooth, possibly gold, the other a wire made of tiny beads, possibly brass. A pressed oval plate of pot metal plated with gold fills in the frame. It can be easily popped out. There has been some attempt to enhance the surface with texture around the flower and leaves. Engraved lines, edges and other details are on the surface. There is a round hinge and c clasp. Pin stem extends beyond the pin. May be hand made out of leftover materials. 1 5/8" long. 1 3/8" wide
