It has a low pedestal base with a rayed pattern on the underside. The bowl has the pattern on the outside. The rim is formed to use a lid.

One blue and white woven coverlet commissioned by Hannah Bissell Backus (1779-1868) of Bethany, New York. Corner square reads "H. Backus / Bethany. Genesee. County N. Y. 1837". Coverlet has a border made of diamond shapes and features motifs of weeping willows, eagles, and floral designs. The museum also has a daguerreotype of Hannah Backus in its collection (2026.06.002).

This beautiful coverlet in indigo and white includes flower elements, weeping willow trees, eagle motifs, and geometric patterns. One side has patterns in blue on a white ground while the other side is reversed, white patterns on a blue ground. Text woven into the coverlet says "The Property of Samuel Salsbury Orleans County N.Y. 1840". This was most likely Samuel P. Salsbury (1813-1887), farmer and minister who lived in Murray, Orleans County, New York.

A two gallon salt glazed semi-ovoid stoneware crock. The exterior is glazed with a gray beige salt glaze, and the interior glazed in brown Albany slip. The rim is flattened, unglazed and rolled to the exterior, and undercut by a finger applied band. The lug handles are laid on in a C curve, one on each side attached along the length in a cupped crescent shape with blue cobalt petal shapes at each attachment. A double incised line goes under the handles. The body of the crock is painted on one side with two flowers, stems and leaves flanked by two numeral "2"s.
