Large buttonhook with sterling silver handle and steel hook shaft. Sterling silver handle featured different layers of relief, modelling, and faceted etchings. Top featured a putti or cherub face on either side above a segmented or lobed concave girdle, below which is a six-sided taper with etchings on each facet. "STERLING" stamped into handle. Steel hook shaft is attached to handle with flange, with carving in upper portion by flange. Some blackened areas from tarnish.
