Entirely hand stitched fine linen; embroidered with white cotton. Horseshoe crown, brim has 2 casings around top, 2 in front, one in neck. Tiny braided (lace technique?) linen drawstrings. Designs of French knots, chain stitch and satin stitch; blackberry vines and fern fronds.
