French knots forming scallop and floral patterns around yoke, sleeves, and skirt. Tiny red rimmed inkwell China buttons. Dress (a) - smooth, low-waisted wide bodice with a triangular panel outlined in scallops. Fairly short gathered skirt, and short scarf sleeves with slit at top joined with a pair of buttons at top. Scallops on neck and sleeve edges. Floral border above hem angles up toward the center front. Jacket or Sacque (b) - long flaring sleeves slit along outside. Scalloped edges joined at shoulders by lacing of floss.
