Entirely hand-stitched child’s dress with matching jacket made of white figured dimity (pique) with a white braid trim. White braid applied around hem and jacket borders in leafy shapes. Dress (a) - buttons on the back. Dress appears to have had front altered from 50's to 60's straight line. Cap sleeves. Wide cotton lace frill around neck and sleeves. Matching Jacket (b) - long, wide sleeves gathered into cuff bands. Curved corners at bottom. Lace frill around high round neck. A single pearl button at the center front neck.
