Pelisse of green silk twill, wadded with thin layer of interlining, and lined with brown cotton. Rounded turn-down collar, quilted in two close-set rows above edge. Center front opening with hook and eye at neck and waist, and with five self-fabric buttons and internal cord loops down front of skirt. Bodice is pieced unevenly in front and back at bust level, and fitted with one dart on either side in front and gathering at center back. Shoulder seams are covered with self fabric bands. Overlong sleeves are gathered to piped armscye, and end in self-fabric binding. Skirt is pleated across back, and has another double row of quilting down the fronts and around the bottom. Hand sewn.
