Oval, sterling silver pin. STERLING stamped on back of open frame. Centered with a bezel set glass star sapphire cabochon. Radiating lines framing the star are very distinctive. Open frame allows light to go through the stone. Cabochon is flat on the back = glass. Round hinge and c clasp. Tiny size of pin suggests it dates earlier, before 1920. May be art glass from Czechoslovakia. 1" long. 1/2" wide
