Object/Artifact

Press glass cup plate. "Bunker Hill" design. The monument is in the center of the plate. Lettering following the top curve of the plate reads, "Bunker Hill Battle Fought" and along the bottom curve "June 17, 1775." Text inside, closest to the monument "From the Fair to the Brave" The drape and tassel pattern outswide the plain table rest. Beaded circles divide the border into thirds, between them, "Cornerstone Laid by Lafayette June 17, 1825. Finished by the Ladies 1841." The rim is scalloped. Ten links of chain make up the border. The rim is scalloped.
