Boots
Clothing/Dress/Costume
Pair of women's oxford-style boots of brown leather, lined with white cotton canvas. One boot (A) is a darker brown than the other; the shaft shows striations as if grained, perhaps from imprecise redyeing. Each boot laces down the front over a tongue through 18 pairs of metal eyelets. (One lace must be a replacement, as they do not match - one is flat and the other round.) Tooled around top of vamp/quarter and over toe. Pointed toe; curved-last soles with curved, stacked heel, which features a thin layer of metal above the heel sole. Shoe A is stamped "345 584" and shoe B "345 7604". Machine sewn.
