Vamp is cut with a gypsy seam: curving in from the sides and forming an upward point at center. Lace up inner ankle/foot through 11 pairs of eyelets. "72.29.1A" and "72.29.1B" written on lining at top of shoes. Squared toes; flat, curved-last soles with ring marks and dark-stained edges. Hand sewn.
