Fullness in back, bottom “kicks” out, supported with a vertical steel. Large printed label stitched into waistband front reads: “Style FASHION SOCIETY BUSTLE --- The B.V. D. Duplex or Double Lined Tape Skirt Manufactured Solely and Exclusively by Bradley, Voorhees & Day Manuf’g Co., (Limited) New York. Patented August 1, 1876”. Also gives description.
