Entirely hand-stitched women's closed drawers. Large waist. Opens at the sides with white China buttons. Extensions have been added to each end of the back waistband. 1 side is 12” with 2 China buttons spaced 4” apart at the end. Other ditto but with 1 buttonhole at the end. Each has been ended out, too. The extensions appear intended to function within the front waistband, possibly to help keep the backside up while the front is down. Very long legs (to ankles) are gathered slightly into a narrow cuff band with a buttonhole. The crotch gusset has whipped selvage seams.
