Entirely hand stitched fine white cotton. High waistline, skirt gathered onto narrow waistband bodice gathered onto waistband and triangular yoke front and back. Wide shallow neckline with drawstring; short, large, puffed sleeves. Embroidered eyelet edging along neck and cuffs; edging forms ‘robing’ on either side of skirt front. Waistband and cuffs formed of insertion embroidered with cloverlike blossom. Same motif embroidered above deep hem and along ‘robings’. Yoke edges are piped. Back opening probably was ripped; re-sewn to from hem to waistband.
