Silt warp and cotton weft with bands of golden orange and white brocade stripes in the weft to correspond to plain stripes in the warp. Gabrielle style with a widely flaring skirt. Back opening with button closure. High round neckline. Coat-like sleeves. Trimmed with apple green velvet bands forming a 'branch' from leaves extending and outlined in velvet and filled with puffs of the self-fabric; this appears on the front and back, and more around sleeve ends. The buttons are matching velvet with a double diamond escutcheon.
