“Mantilla”-tyle pelerine made of white cotton bobbinet, shaped to fit across wide sleeves. Front shaped gently into tabs to the waist. The border was embroidered “without a pattern” by Hannah G. Gowen in an outline of a running lily-like vine with lace-like fillings. Edged all around with machine lace of very complementary design. Collar formed by folding over the top edge.
